Michael Schumacher states that it is very unlikely that he will leave Ferrari for any team. At the same time, Schumacher all but admits that he will continue on racing with Ferrari in the coming years. Speaking to The Times newspaper, Schumacher had this to say about his future:

It is very likely that I would stay with the colour red. There are obviously other options, but at this stage, I won’t consider them.

Why should I (leave)? I am so happy here. We have such a good relationship and we have known each other for so long that I would have to have a very good reason to move to another team.

If all things do go well this season, there is apparently no reason as to why Schumacher would not sign a contract extension for 2007 and possibly beyond with Ferrari.
