Michael Schumacher set the quickest time during testing yesterday at the Vallelunga circuit in Italy. Schumacher joined Luca Badoer on track for Ferrari while Williams and Honda also had drivers in action for today’s round of testing.
Luca Badoer continued on with Bridgestone tyre development, which had been been started on the previous by Marc Gene. The Italian test driver ran a total of 99 laps, setting a fastest time of 1′15.924.
Michael Schumacher was at the wheel of a 248 F1, working on new component testing while running a V8 engine endurance test. Schumacher ran 128 laps, with a quickest time of 1′13.831, fastest ahead of Honda’s Anthony Davidson and Jenson Button, Luca Badoer and Williams’ Alexander Wurz.
Both Luca Badoer and Michael Schumacher are continuing testing at Vallelunga today.
