The San Marino Grand Prix at Imola will be a crucial race for the Scuderia, as it will indicate how they will perform at the other European venues. Michael Schumacher believes he can achieve a good result and that the car is indeed fast enough to allow for this.
This is what the 7-Time World Champion had to say about the San Marino Grand Prix and Ferrari’s season as a whole:
I was supposed to have a break but despite the long trip back from Australia I felt in good shape and thought the best thing was to get back behind the wheel straight away.
In Imola we really must have the right tyres. The Imola track will be a completely different world to the first three races. It’s difficult to make predictions for the San Marino Grand Prix but the car is very strong, the problem is we haven’t been able to exploit it yet.

There’s a lot of questions over Ferrrari following the first 3 races – I’m very interested to see how they get on in the first Euro races. Nice blog btw

Trying to exploit the car’s power is what caused him to hit the wall in the Australian GP.
