Ferrari Controversial front wing

Ferrari has confirmed that it will run a new wing design in Melbourne next week.

But team manager Stefano Domenicali was not in a confessional mood, announcing that the revised Australia-spec wings were always part of the scarlet camp’s plans.

“We would have brought new, developed wings (to Melbourne) anyway,” he said. “It is part of our intended development programme”.

I guess we’ll just have to wait and see..

I thought the controversy about the flexible wing involved the rear wing. Is this somethng different or was I mistaken?

Yes, at first. Then other teams also claimed that the front wing flexes laterally, giving the Ferrari more stability in curves.
