Ferrari has just filed a patent for a new type of door opening that will make it very easy to get in and out of the low sports cars from Maranello.
The doors will include part of the front wing and will hinge upward, a solution that will allow the driver to place his foot directly behind the front wheel. This is an easy and cost-effective solution, according to Ferrari, preferable to the “traditional” gullwing doors.

Would like to see a better picture of it…last picture is the closest to see what’s the door is like, but it’s still hard to imagine it in a real car.
